*When you meet the qualifications for the bonus checking the 1.98% APY rate will automatically kick in, if you do not meet the qualifications for the month the normal checking rate will be used. The 1.98% APY will be applied to the balance up to $25,000 anything over that amount will earn the normal checking dividend.
